Key Features

  • 10 high-chroma pigments that mixing alone cannot achieve — Bismuth Yellow PY184 · Hansa Yellow PY74 · Permanent Green Light PY74/PG7 · Phthalo Turquoise PB15/PG7 · Phthalo Blue Red Shade PB15:2 · Quinacridone Magenta Crimson PR202 · Quinacridone Violet PV19 · Quinacridone Red PV19 · Pyrrol Red PR254 · Dioxazine Violet PV23. Every pigment occupies a zone of the colour wheel impossible or impractical to mix from primaries — the colours that make paintings stop viewers in their tracks. Pure pigment, no fillers, no extenders. 2 fl oz each in clear PET jars.
  • Three quinacridones PR202/PV19 + dioxazine PV23 — the complete red-to-violet arc — Quinacridone Magenta Crimson PR202, Quinacridone Violet PV19 and Quinacridone Red PV19 cover the warm red-to-cool violet range with transparent, highly staining pigments that produce the cleanest possible purples when mixed with blue. Dioxazine Violet PV23 anchors the deep blue-violet end — one of the strongest tinting and most transparent pigments available, with an almost black mass tone that dilutes to brilliant violet glazes. Together these four produce every purple, crimson and magenta without muddy mixing.
  • Phthalo blue red shade PB15:2 — the mixing blue professionals choose for violets — While Phthalo Blue Green Shade PB15:3 biases toward cyan and green, Phthalo Blue Red Shade PB15:2 biases toward violet — making it the essential partner for the quinacridone pigments in this set. Mixed with Quinacridone Magenta Crimson PR202 it produces vivid clean purples impossible to achieve with a green-shade blue. Phthalo Turquoise PB15/PG7 bridges the cyan gap between blue and green. Together these two blues and Permanent Green Light PY74/PG7 give complete cool-spectrum coverage from cyan through deep blue to violet.
  • Bismuth yellow PY184 — the cadmium alternative artists have been waiting for — Bismuth Vanadate Yellow PY184 delivers cadmium-level opacity, tinting strength and lightfastness without cadmium's toxicity, UV sensitivity or moisture sensitivity. Originally developed as a non-toxic cadmium replacement, it is now the professional standard bright opaque yellow. Brilliant lemon-yellow with a slight green bias, exceptional chemical stability, compatible with all mediums — oil, alkyd, acrylic and watercolour. The yellow that replaces cadmium permanently on your palette.
  • Works across all mediums — oil, alkyd, acrylic and watercolour — Every pigment grinds into oil, disperses into alkyd medium for fast-drying glazes, mixes into acrylic binder and mulls into watercolour gum arabic. The quinacridone family PR202/PV19 is celebrated by watercolourists for transparency, staining strength and granulation on cold-press paper. Dioxazine Violet PV23 produces extraordinary dark washes — a single diluted layer over bismuth yellow PY184 creates instant natural shadows. Clear PET jars let you identify each pigment instantly. Non-toxic · Artist grade · · Conforms to ASTM D-4236.
