Description

BJB TC-808 Jet Black is a pre-pigmented, fast-curing 78D rigid polyurethane built for production mold shops, prop makers, and prototype labs. It pours thin, cures fast, and produces strong, tough black parts with a thermoplastic-like feel. Key Benefits: Rich, deep black — ready-to-use color 2–2.25 minute working time 10–20 minute time to remove from mold (longer for thin walls) Low viscosity for crisp detail and sharp lines Moisture-insensitive & bonds to itself for multi-stage pours Applications: Special effects props, film armor & parts, prototyping, industrial housings, RC/robotics parts, rotocast shells, display hardware, rigid components requiring fast cycle time Process Notes: Mix equal parts by weight (100:100) Pour immediately — fast reacting system Pressure molding recommended for critical detail Post-Cure Option: 1–3 hr room temp + 16 hr @ 180°F (82°C) to maximize strength Safety: Use gloves & eye protection. Work in a ventilated area. Avoid skin contact. Read SDS prior to use. Bottom Line: High-speed black urethane for pro-level work and rapid part turnover.
